Lifenol® is a patented extract based on a plant-based hop extract (Humulus Lupulus). It contains 8-prenylnaringenin, which is classified as a phytoestrogen. A study carried out showed the optimal daily intake amount to be at least 85 mg of Lifenol® over a period of 6 weeks.

Further plant extracts from flaxseed, red clover, yam and sage complete the formula.

Lignan is a plant extract obtained from linseed. Like isoflavonoids, lignans are secondary plant substances, especially phytoestrogens, which have similar effects in the human body to the body's own oestrogens. The isoflavones contained in red clover are also phytoestrogens. Sage (Salvia Officinalis) is a plant that has been valued for centuries. Sage tea is used in naturopathy, as the essential oils and polyphenols are a multi-talented plant. The yam, which is mainly found in Africa, looks similar to a sweet potato and is full of vitamins and cell-protecting antioxidants. It contains a lot of potassium, zinc, manganese, copper and iron. Another important ingredient is diosgenin, a precursor of the human hormone progesterone. Diosgenin, just like the dioscin it contains, belongs to the steroid saponins. The B vitamins contained support healthy nerves and a normal psyche and round off the formula. Developed in collaboration with Prof Dr Michaela Döll.

Recommended intake

Take 3 capsules once daily. For optimal results, take at least 30 minutes before or 90 minutes after a meal with 250 ml of still, lukewarm water or, alternatively, half a freshly squeezed lemon.
