The 9% AHA BHA PAD complex is made up of the highly concentrated power of omnipotent acids and panthenol. Mandelic acid acts as a gentle alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that carefully exfoliates the top layer of skin. This gentle exfoliation removes dead skin cells, which stimulates skin renewal. At the same time, mandelic acid helps to stimulate collagen production, leading to improved skin texture and a more even complexion. Furthermore, its moisturising properties enhance skin hydration for a supple, smooth complexion.

Deep-acting salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) with a lipophilic molecular structure, making it oil-soluble and thus better able to dissolve sebum and dead skin cells. This unique mechanism of action allows salicylic acid to thoroughly cleanse pores, prevent them from becoming blocked, and consequently reduce the appearance of blemishes such as blackheads and pimples. Furthermore, salicylic acid helps to calm irritated skin, reduce redness and swelling, and minimise existing blemishes.

The derivative of azelaic acid is a multi-talented skincare ingredient, known for its antibacterial properties. Due to its better skin compatibility, it normalises the skin's sebum production and sebum content and prevents pore blockages. Its antioxidant properties protect the skin from harmful free radicals, thus preventing premature skin ageing. Furthermore, this derivative has a balancing effect and can help to correct hyperpigmentations and dark acne spots for a more even skin tone.

Use

This skin-refining facial toner supports the skin's renewal process and, with regular use, visibly reduces blemishes, enlarged pores, and minor uneven skin tone.

Application

Apply to a cotton pad every 2 days after cleansing and spread over the face, neck and décolleté, ensuring the skin feels thoroughly moistened. Leave to absorb and then apply your usual skincare. If well tolerated, the toner can also be used daily.
