COOLTECH DEFINE
Cryogenics
- Reduction of fat deposits
- Beautifying the silhouette
Suffering from stubborn pockets of fat that just won't budge? The Cooltech Define is a state-of-the-art device that employs non-invasive cooling technology, cryolipolysis, to tackle precisely these persistent fat deposits. With this highly effective and non-surgical procedure, you can achieve lasting reduction of fat tissue in those tricky areas of your body such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, and upper arms.
Cryolipolysis
Cryolipolysis harnesses the cold sensitivity of fat cells. Controlled cold is applied to the body area being treated, causing the fat cells beneath the skin to crystallise selectively, while the surrounding tissue, such as skin, muscles and nerves, remains unharmed. With nine different applicators that can be used simultaneously on four different body areas, Cooltech Define offers flexible treatment for almost any body region.
Non-invasive method
Unlike surgical procedures, treatment with Cooltech Define is non-invasive, meaning no cuts, needles, or anaesthetic are required. This minimises the risk of complications and infections. The device is equipped with temperature sensors, ensuring controlled cooling during treatment. The treatment is painless, with most people feeling only a slight pulling and cold sensation. After treatment, patients can return to their daily activities immediately, without needing to plan for any recovery time.
Aftercare
The device includes a semi-automatic massager which is used after treatment to increase effectiveness. It promotes blood circulation and supports lymphatic drainage.
Targeted fat reduction
Cooltech Define allows for targeted treatment of fat deposits that are difficult to eliminate through diet and exercise, leading to a visible improvement in body contours. Studies and clinical experience show that Cooltech Define delivers significant results in reducing fat cells, which become visible over a period of up to three months after treatment. Patients report a noticeable reduction in fatty tissue and a slimmer silhouette.
Cryolipolysis
Cryolipolysis utilises the cold sensitivity of fat cells, a phenomenon known as «adipocyte apoptosis». During cryolipolysis, controlled cold is applied to the body area to be treated, causing the fat cells beneath the skin to selectively crystallise, while the surrounding tissue, such as skin, muscles, and nerves, remains unharmed.
Targeted fat cell reduction
Exposure to cold leads to a series of physiological changes in fat cells. Initially, the fat cells respond to the cold by forming crystals, which leads to a change in cell structure. Subsequently, signalling cascades are initiated, leading to the activation of programmed cell death programmes (apoptosis). This process, known as adipocyte apoptosis, ultimately leads to the breakdown of fat cells.
Gradual reduction of adipose tissue
After the cryolipolysis treatment, the damaged fat cells are gradually broken down by the immune system and eliminated through the body's natural metabolic process. This breakdown occurs over a period of several weeks to up to three months, leading to a gradual reduction of fat tissue in the treated area.
Good tolerability
Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment method that is generally well-tolerated. It requires no anaesthetic or downtime and can be performed as an outpatient procedure. Most users will only feel a slight cooling sensation during the treatment, which is usually well-tolerated.
Ideal for stubborn fat deposits
Cryolipolysis is an effective method for the targeted reduction of localised fat tissue, particularly in problem areas such as the stomach, hips, thighs and arms. It is best suited for individuals who already have a healthy body weight and simply wish to get rid of stubborn fat deposits.
